Saving & Sharing Your Diagnostic Plan

Repair Ally automatically saves your Diagnostic Plans and Repair Information reports to your account so you can return to them anytime.

You can also share reports using the “Email This Information” feature available directly within both:

  • 🔍 Diagnostic Plan

  • 🛠 Repair Information

This makes it easy to:

  • Continue unfinished diagnostics

  • Revisit repair information later

  • Share findings with a customer, friend, or family member

  • Access reports across devices

Accessing Saved Reports

To view previous reports:

  1. Log into your Repair Ally account

  2. Select My Reports from the top navigation bar

  3. Open the report you want to view

Saved reports allow you to:

  • Continue diagnostic testing

  • Review logged Pass/Fail results

  • Revisit repair instructions

  • Access parts, tools, and supply recommendations

Using “Email This Information”

On both Diagnostic Plan and Repair Information pages, you can select:

  • Email Me This Repair Information

  • or similar “Email This Information” options

This feature sends a direct link to the report to your email address so you can easily:

  • Return to the report later

  • Open it on another device

  • Share it with others

Why Sharing Helps

A shared report can provide valuable context, including:

  • Vehicle information

  • Symptoms and trouble codes

  • Completed diagnostic steps

  • Test results and observations

  • Root cause recommendations

  • Repair guidance and shopping lists

This can help reduce repeated troubleshooting and improve repair efficiency.

Before Sharing a Report

For the best experience:

  • Make sure your latest diagnostic results are logged

  • Add details when tests fail

  • Review the report for completeness before sharing

The more accurate and complete the report, the more useful it will be to others.
